Information we process
We process account identity, authentication events, workspace settings, credit and payment records, uploaded email addresses, verification evidence, job metadata, API activity, and security logs required to operate and protect the service.
Purpose and lawful responsibility
Customer data is used to provide verification, normalize and deduplicate records, produce exports, account for credits, prevent abuse, maintain security, support customers, and meet legal obligations. Customers are responsible for having a lawful basis to upload and process their data.
Storage, retention, and deletion
Workspace administrators can permanently delete workspace users, jobs, results, keys, and related operational data. Limited billing, fraud-prevention, backup, or legal records may be retained where required. Backups age out through controlled retention rather than functioning as active customer records.
Security controls
Controls include HTTPS, tenant isolation, salted password hashing, scoped and revocable API keys, protected production secrets, rate limiting, audit records, database backups, and restricted administration. No system can guarantee absolute security.
Service providers and transfers
Infrastructure, DNS, email-delivery, and payment providers may process limited information necessary to provide their function. Cryptocurrency payment processing is handled by the Best Sender BTCPay service; wallet seed phrases and private keys are not stored in Best Verifier.
